GET READY! GET PET! GO!
Supports Pets of the Homeless
Last year I was downtown San Diego, CA. I came across a man and his pet. He asked me for food for his pet. We began talking and I asked him his story. It was a sad one. It involved him losing his job and his wife. I believed him. Ask me why? Because I did! I went out and bought him food. He thanked me. I bought him food every week and brought it to his pet. He received food for himself but not always his pet. I talked to him just as if he was like you and I. Guess what? He got back on his feet and joined his grown child who lived out of state. During this time I met another woman who was having hard times. I took in her 2 pets while she found a place to live. I gave her back her pets after 3 months.
Have you ever had a life experience which changes you? Well I have to say after my father passed away and events took place such as the above my eyes opened widely and I went out and found a charity which stood up for what I believed. "Pets of the Homeless" I found my niche! I do not take away from any other charity, even if they do not believe in what I do. I will never take away from a charity. I believe if you are doing what you feel strong about then you have a goal. That goal is a dream. That dream is no one else's but your own. When people say they believe you shouldn't help the homeless and their pets I wonder what I am hurting? When they say these pets need to be placed for adoption I say "I never placed any emphasis on adoption" If someone wants to start a cause for adoption feel free. All I'm doing is feeding these pets. That's it. Clear & Simple I am
.....Feeding these pets.
